Ward, George Carrington, Sr. and Bert Sanford, Jr. They named it 'Altec Service Company' in the year 1937. The present name of the company was given when the Altec Company bought the 'Lansing Manufacturing Company' in the year 1941 and its name was changed to Altec Lansing Corporation. From there the company never looked back and scaled heights in the business. The first product developed by the new company was a power amplifier, Model 142B. After that it produced many product which became quite popular in the market after their sales. The company entered the audio equipment sector with the development of horn-based loudspeaker systems which it’s first developed for use in motion picture theaters.

Since its inception the Altec Lansing Company got acquired by many companies but its name remains the same. Its products are sold all over the world through dealers, distributors and online shopping websites.

Altec Lansing Bluetooth MZW100 had been purchase through Flipkart in March, 2017. (Invoice number FOP7Y03117-01755915, dated 26/03/2017), since September 2017, the product was not functioning and after a series of correspondence, I had received an Altec Lansing Orbit Bluetooh speaker in replacement on 7/12/2017. The speaker was good and I have used it sparingly even then now it is not working, I do not get any sound, its Bluetooth visibility is there as well as connectivity, but no sound. Even it is connected through the cable supplied, it does not work. I would be very grateful if you can help.
