It came into existence in the year 1957 in the Lower Mainland under the name Big Brothers of BC. Big Brothers was established with the
Aim of fulfilling the needs of the girls and boys. In 1972, it changed its name to present name Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver. Big Brothers serves the areas of West Vancouver, Port Moody, Vancouver, New Westminster, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Richmond, the Sunshine Coast, Delta, North Vancouver, Surrey, Whistler etc. Big Brothers Vancouver has a team of volunteer members who are always ready to help the poor and needy people in difficult circumstances. People across the United States of America and Canada can donate their cloths and funds, And can also become volunteers of the Organization.
