Home Advisor Customer Service Number Delineated Here With Complaints and Reviews
I hired Michael L. Brooks-independent contractor to repair my dishwasher. He came recommended through Home Advisor. I showed up in a van. I neglected to get the name off of the van. H drained the dishwasher of standing water and said it was fixed. It still does not run through a cycle. The receipt for payment was written on a blank receipt form. When I contacted him, he offered to return and work on it again. Why would I have the same person return?
I will attempt to stop the check. I will probably not use Home Advisor again, as it appears you do not vet the people you list as contractors.

I DID NOT GO TO YOUR WEBSITE FOR PLUMBING CONTRACTORS, BUT INSTEAD CONTACTED FRIAS SERVICES, LLC DIRECTLY. IT WAS THROUGH YOUR WEBSITE THAT I CAME TO KNOW THIS COMPANY THE FIRST TIME I HAD PLUMBING PROBLEM. I MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO POST A COMPLAINT SINCE I DID NOT USE YOUR WEBSITE, BUT JUST TO LET YOU KNOW OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH HIM-WE AGREED OVER THE PHONE A PRICE FOR HYDRO JETTING A CLEANOUT LINE INSTALLED YEARS AGO THAT RUNS INSIDE THE HOUSE AND OUT TO MAIN SEWER LINE. I SSUED A CHECK IN HIS NAME, TOLD ME IT'S NOT GOOD, ASKED ME WHY NOT CASH, TOLD ME HE HAS TO PAY TAXES. TOLD ME TO ADD ANOTHER $25 BECAUSE HE CLEANED THE LINE GOING INSIDE THE HOUSE-WE ARE TALKING OF THE SAME CLEAN OUT LINE HERE. THE ADDED ATTITUDE AND ARROGANCE APPALLED ME AND ASKED HIM WHY IS HE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY CHECK WHEN HE DID NOT HAVE PROBLEM THE FIRST TIME? HE DID NOT LIKE THE CHECK WRITTEN IN HIS COMPANY NAME BECAUSE HE DID NOT LIKE TO PAY TAXES ACCORDING TO HIM, SO WROTE IT IN HIS NAME LIKE BEFORE.

I have hired a contractor from Home Advisory and he did part of the work and ask for money up front he was given half and said he needed more to fix door we gave it to him seemed like he was trust edStarted job in January came, but has not completed it yet he says he will show, but never does
