The Heyward library is on campus and houses over 200,000 print volumes and provides access to the La Trobe University - Bendigo Library network, electronic resources and services. The library offers a range of learning spacing that includes quiet study areas and group study tables. Access to computer workstations, wireless internet access, photocopying and print services are also available in the library. The Phyllis Palmer Gallery is a space dedicated to showing new work by graduates, current students and associates of La Trobe University - Bendigo Visual Arts as well as those that have had connections with La Trobe University and is open to the general public.
La Trobe University - Bendigo is committed to internationalisation and encourages the diversification of the student community through the study abroad and student exchange programs.Our semester exchange program provides opportunities for La Trobe University - Bendigo students to participate in studies overseas and students from partner institutions to study at La Trobe. La Trobe students also have the option to participate in a Short Term Program or a Clinical Placement abroad.
La Trobe University - Bendigo Visual Arts Centre, is open to both students and the general public. Regular exhibitions of contemporary art are displayed by Visual Arts staff, artists-in-residence and other practising artists. The Brockley auditorium at 121 View Street Visual Arts Centre seats 80, includes audio-visual facilities and is available for public use for seminars and conferences. Catering can be provided. Residential Services provides high quality residences for accommodating nearly 600 students and visiting scholars and conference facilities. The residences are ideal for group bookings and conferences over the summer break with quality catering available through Food for Thought.
