Ms. Linda Hemphill On Phone To State of New Jersey Division of Pensions and Benef Service
I have been calling the (609) 292-7524 since Monday (2-8) I called at 7:31 am and it was BUSY. Finally after waiting 42 minutes I was CUT OFF. I am calling from my cellphone and my minutes were ticking away. Now, again I am on HOLD for "approximately 40 minutes. I live In Florida and it is TRULY hard to get in touch with this Department. I have now been on HOLD for 39 minutes and still no Rep has gotten on the phone. I understand that there are a lot of people wanting answers, and it's obvious that this Department needs more help. If someone could get back to me it truly would be appreciated. I am a retired State Employee as well as my husband. We both need help with questions we have. THANKS for your time in reading this and hopefully hearing from someone SOON. Linda Hemphill .
Ms. Ann Kathy Doherty On Phone To State of New Jersey Division of Pensions and Benef Service
My 1099-R form for my 2014 taxes took 1200. 00 taxes for the State Of NJ Pensions and Benefits. I just did my taxes and was informed that you have made an error. My husband, Frederick S Doherty, died 9/8/2011 and I am Ann Kathy Doherty who is receiving the surviving benefit of $7181. 76 a year. We moved to Florida in 2001 and my husband passed away in 2011. Why am I getting NJ taxes taken out when I still live in Florida? I hope to hear from you soon regarding this matter. Should you need to call me I can be reached at this number 1-386-437-9759. As I am on a limited income I would appreciate you resolving this in a timely fashion. Thanking you in advance for your help in this matter. Ann K Doherty.
