Babu
Lal Marandi was born on 11th January 1958 at Giridih, Jharkhand. He was an associate of parliament as well as the first
Chief Minister of Jharkhand. He has started his career by being a teacher in a village school for a year. He has also played role of organising secretary for the
Jharkhand of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Later on, he shifted to Dumka where he worked in Santhal Parganas division. During his job in Dumka, he resides in the RSS office of Dumka. In 1991, he got a ticket from
Bjp to participate from Dumka
Lok Sabha seat. He is married to Shanti Devi and is having two sons.
