Ms. Marilyn Nathan On Phone To Ceo of American Airlines Service
I almost missed my connecting flight from Charlotte to Indianapolis, IN on 9/9/21 because I needed a wheelchair. I asked the attendant at the counter I arrived at and was told she was not responsible for wheelchair service. Another woman with a her leg in a cast was told the same thing. As time was critical this other woman sat me in a wheelchair and with her leg in a cast took to to the flight. The person at my arriving gate (from Augusta) said the wheelchair business was "farmed out" and the airline was not accountable. I am 84 yrs. Old and have mobility problems. I am a frequent flyer (5A45W2) though I doubt I would consider using AA again since I suspect I will always need wheelchair assistance,
Marilyn Nathan .
