United States in the 2012 election. He was born on March 12, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. He belongs to the Republican Political Party and also served as a
Governor of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007. He did his early schooling from public elementary schools and later at Cranbrook School in
Bloomfield hills. He attended Stanford University from year 1965-1966 and completed his Bachelors of Arts in English in year 1971 from the Brigham Young University. He completed joint
Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration from the
Harvard University in the year 1975. He worked as a management consultant for various companies and was later hired by many reputed companies. He was the co-founder and CEO of the Bain Capital from year 1984-2002 and worked as a CEO of Bain and Company from year 1991-1992. Mitt Romney was also the CEO of 2002 Winter Olympics Organizing Committee from year 1999-2002. He worked as a director for
