McKayla Rose Maroney is an artistic gymnast from America. She was born on December 9, 1995 at Aliso Viejo, California, United States. She has won the gold medals in the team and vault competitions at the 2011 World championships. She was also a member of the gold-medal winning U.S women’s gymnastic team at the summer Olympics of 2012. She was the first U.S female gymnast to defend a World Championships Vault title.
