Preneet kaur is an Indian Politician and belongs to the Indian National
Congress Political Party. She was born on October 3, 1944 in Shimla,
Himachal Pradesh. She is the wife of Capt. Amrinder Singh-ex-Chief Minister of Punjab. She did her schooling from
Convent of Jesus and Mary, Shimla and completed her graduation from
St. Bede’s College, Shimla. She began her political career in year 1999 representing the Constituency of Patiala as a member of the 13th
Lok Sabha. She established an institute for differently abled children in Patiala known as Sanjeevani. Before starting her career in politics she worked with the Indian Red Cross.
