Aashiq Abu is an Indian film director and producer. He was born on 12 April 1978 in Edapally, Kochi, India. Aashiq Abu started his career as an ad filmmaker. Aashiq Abu also worked as assistant Director to Malayalam Film director Kamaluddin Mohammed Majeed for about 5 years. He made his directional debut in 2009 with the movie named Daddy Cool. Among his notable works include films Salt N' Pepper (2011) and 22 Female Kottayam (2012).
