Afshin Ghotbi is an Iranian-American Football coach who moved to Los Angeles with his father at the age of Thirteen. He was born on 8 February 1964 and started his coaching career from Southern California youth soccer scene. Afshin Ghotbi has been associated with the Korea Republic national football team as a football analyst (2000-2002), Iran Pro League club (Persepolis F.C. in 2007) as Head coach and also as the head coach of the Iranian national team.
