Ajahn Brahmavamso graduated from Cambridge university before traveling to Thailand to become a monk in the late 1960s. Ajahn Brahmavamso Mahathera is the Abbot (The superior of an abbey of monks) of Bodhinyana Monastery, in Serpentine, Western Australia. He has been associated with many publications like Opening the Door of Your Heart, The Art of Disappearing: Buddha's Path to Lasting Joy (2011) etc.
