Al-Kass Sports Channel, official known as Al Dawri wal Kass, is a sports channel broadcast 24/7 from Qatar. It was launched on 6th June 2006 and is owned and operated by Government of Qatar. Some of the programmes broadcast on Al-Kass tv include Al Majlis, Race N Wheels, Fadh Fadh, Al Kuratul Aalamiyah and Jarayed. It also had the honour to broadcast the 2006 Asian Games which were held in Doha. Al-Kass Sports Channel also broadcasts the AFC Asian Cup, FIFA World Cup qualifying matches, the Persian Gulf Cup of Nations and various other sports events.
