Alex Castellanos is a Cuban American Political consultant and political commentator. He was born in 1954 in Havana, Cuba. Alex Castellanos' career as a political consultant started in 1984, working for the re-election campaigns for United States Senators Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond. He became a partner at National Media, Inc., in 1989, and is the co-founder of a bipartisan communications organisation, Purple Strategies. Alex Castellanos has worked on a variety of Republican campaigns as a media consultant and strategist that include George H. W.
