Alyssa Caymo Valdez is a Filipino volleyball player. She was born on June 29, 1993 in San Juan, Batangas, Philippines. Alyssa Valdez started playing volleyball at the age of 10 and later played in the Southern Tagalog (Calabarzon) Athletic Association (STACAA), a regional sports meet for elementary and high school student athletes. She has been associated with Philippines UST Tigress Cub (2006-2010), Philippines Smart-Maynilad Net Spikers (2013) and Ateneo Lady Eagles. Alyssa Valdez also led the RP Youth 16-Under Girl's National Volleyball Team in the 2008 Asian Youth Girls Volleyball Championship and became a member of Philippines Women's National Volleyball Team in 2013. She has won several awards along with acquiring Special Recognition's such as Miss Volleyball 2013 (Philippine Sportswriters Association), BioFit Tea Fittest Player of the Conference (Shakey's V-League 10th Season Open Conference) etc. She can be followed on twitter at @AlyssaValdez2.
