August Burns Red is a US based extreme metal and hardcore punk band. It was formed in 2003 when all the members were attending high school. The band members initially included drummer Matt Greiner, Vocalist Jon Hershey and Josh McManness. August Burns Red band has also been said to share traits of genres such as progressive metal and thrash metal. Some of the albums of August Burns Red include Thrill Seeker (2005), Constellations (2009) and Rescue & Restore (2013).
