Gregory Stephen "Greg" Abbott is a former English footballer. He has also served as the manager of Thackley and Carlisle United. Greg Abbott was born on 14 December 1963 in Coventry, England. He started his career in 1982 playing for hometown team Coventry City. He played for Bradford City (1982–1991), Halifax Town (1991–1992), Guiseley (1992) and Hull City (1992–1996). Greg Abbott also served as the coach of Leeds United.
