Lockheed Air Express was one of the aircraft design created by the Lockheed Aircraft Company. It was a Single-engined passenger and mail transport aircraft. Lockheed Air Express took its first flight in April of 1928. Lockheed Air Express was manufactured by Lockheed Corporation, an American aerospace company. The Lockheed Air Express design was a commercial success for the company although only seven were built, plus one Air Express Special. The Air Express Special was a One-off version built for Laura Ingalls (American pilot), for a non-stop trans-Atlantic flight in 1931.
