Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan is a singer based in Pakistan. He was born on 26 February 1965 in Lahore, Pakistan and is a specialized classic and sufi singer. He is of Patiala Gharana descent. Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan began his singing career in the year 2000 as a main vocalist of band Fuzon. He was brought in the Bollywood by Indian composer and singer,Shankar Mahadevan and made debut in the Bollywood with the song Mitwa from movie Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Some of the popular songs of Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan include Mitwa, Khamaj, Dildaara, Kyun Mein Jagoon, Tu Hi Mera and Aankhon Ke Saagar. He has been honored with President's Pride of Performance award in 2007.
