Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is a politician of Pakistan. He was born in Dewal Shareef, Murree, Pakistan on December 27, 1958. He is also a reputed businessman and an electrical engineer. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi founded the Airblue. From the year 1997 to 1999, Abbasi was appointed as Chairman and CEO of Pakistan International Airlines. As a politician, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi served as Member of Parliament of Pakistan from 18 February 2008 – 16 March 2013 under the presidency of Asif Ali Zardari.
