The Avent’s brand was created in 1984 from their sub brand, Avent Naturally to launch a type of baby bottles that were short with a wide neck. The company was purchased by Charterhouse Venture Capital from the Atkin family in 2005 and changed its name to Cannon Avent. One year later in 2006, they sold it to Phillips & company changed its name to Phillips Avent.

I am a first time mother and I bought two newborn set of Avent bottles, I washed them and went to use them and the rim that holds the nipple started leaking on two of the bottles and the other set the rim that holds the bottle and rim together was also leaking. I paid 29$ per set and I cant even feed my baby, I'm so disappointed in this product.

It's been over three months since I have called Avent customer service. I have called twice and spoke with representatives. They were to call me back and set up a home visit. My daughter received Avent bottles as a baby shower gift. The four ounce bottles leaked. At that time her daughter was only taking an ounce of formula due to being a premie. She had to use the nine ounce bottles. I would think that being a top of the line company for bottles they would do a follow up with customers. Very dissatisfied with the service. For the price, service should be better.

Hi,
I just wanted some guidance on your avent bottles. I have a three month old and have gone to bottle feeding now, I was recommended Dr. Brown's bottles so I went with those however I am not very pleased with them. Was searching through bottles online and have seen good reviews on yours. I have already spent a lot on bottles I do not particularly like so I wanted some input first if possible? My son has reflux so I am looking for something to keep the gas and bubbles to as minimum as possible as well as comfortable for him while feeding. Is this something your product offers? And is there difference in the styles that I should be looking for for feedings? Any info you can supply me with would be hugely appreciated. He drinks atleast six ounces a feeding so the bottle needs to hold atleast that. Thanks in Advance
