The foundation stone of Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya - Lucknow was laid by then Chief Minister Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav on 10th February, 1995 and now this college is one of the renowned agricultural degree college of in state. Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya is the only college in Lucknow and Bareilly commissionaires which has become not only the excellence of agricultural education but also the center for the development of farmers as several training programs and exhibitions are arranged by Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya - Lucknow in their interest. It is the result of hard work and close supervision of its esteemed manager Shri Bhagwati Singh ji that at present about 1000 students are studying in this college and mostly passed out students are working in government/non government organisations.
The origin and development of Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya - Lucknow goes back to a fascinating idea of Former Chief Minister of U.P. Late Shri C.B. Gupta, who wished to establish Agricultural Degree College besides Bakshi Ka Talab Inter College, of which he was the President. As such to perpetuate the memory of the Late Shri Chandra Bhanu Gupta, it was established by the Shikshan Samiti with active support of Bharat Seva Sansthan also established by Late Sri Gupta. Ex. M.P. and the then president of Bharat Seva Sansthan, Dr. M. M. S. Siddhu, General Secretary Shri Umakant Mishra and present President of Bharat Seva Sansthan than and Hon'ble Manager of the college Sansad Sadasya Shri Bhagwati Singh made strenuous efforts in fulfilling the wishes of Gupta ji. College provides Bachelor Degree program to the students.

Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya - Lucknow has a spacious and peaceful library to cater to the requirements of the students and teachers. The library has an adequate collection of more than 5000 relevant course books. In addition, reputed Indian Scientific Journals, newspapers and a rich collection of all prominent magazines in respect of agriculture as well as general awareness are also there. The college publishes magazines which are quite innovative and useful in the field of agriculture farming.
Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya - Lucknow has a separate hostel for boys having well furnished 66 rooms and each room shared with two students with lodging and fooding facility and the hostel is well equipped with 24 hour water and electricity supply, necessary furniture, recreational facilities, indoor and outdoor games. The classrooms are spacious with accurate sitting arrangements to provide all students a clear view of the blackboard. The rooms are properly ventilated and provided with all the necessities as required by the faculty.

All relevant software packages are installed in these computers to provide latest software technologies. The computer network is complemented with a host of laser printers, scanner, UPS and other support peripherals. Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya - Lucknow has well aesthetically designed, spacious, airy chemistry lab. It is well equipped with the latest instruments prescribed by the University. The laboratory has separate room having the latest pan electric and chemical balances, digital pH meter, electric oven, distilled water generating unit and other essential apparatus and chemicals.
Chandra Bhanu Gupta Krishi Mahavidyalaya - Lucknow provides facility to play different games that is Bolly-Boll, Badminton, Table-Tennis, Cricket, Hockey, Kho-Kho, Chess and Athletics etc. for physical and mental development of the students, under trained teacher. Our students have won laurels in different sport competitions. With the help of State Institute a Food/Fruit Preservation program is organized for giving industrial knowledge and provide certificate after training to the students.
