David Lloyd is an English businessman and tennis player, who was born on 3 January, 1948 in Leigh-on-Sea. In 1990, he gave birth to a health and sport club named
David Lloyd Leisure. It has a wide network of gyms and health facilities spread in many destinations countrywide. The club is owned by the TDR Capital. David Lloyd Leisure is aimed at serving its members with innovative and high quality health and fitness services. The company manages health clubs and tennis courts in England and other regions in Europe. It has over 12,500 exercise machines, tennis and squash courts. A network of 150 indoor and outdoor swimming pools enables the members to relax with active fun.
