Later it was in the year 1955 that Evenflo Juvenile Furniture Company and Evenflo Juvenile Products combined together to give birth to the Evenflo Company, Inc. For the two consecutive years after its foundation, the company was overtaken by Kohlberg Kravis
Roberts & Co. and Spalding in 1996 and by Gerry Baby Products (division of
Huffy Corporation) in 1997. The company was again overtaken by Harvest Partners in the year 2004, which later in 2007 was bought by Weston Presidio.
