I work for an electrical contractor. When trying to get assistance from your "Trouble line" personnel for our customer who is in trouble-burnt buss bar or other issues-your personnel answering the Trouble calls are impossible to deal with. There answer is always the same "the customer has full power". Well yes, they may have full power, but their breaker box has an issue with a burnt up buss bar or burnt up wires. Then they give me a ticket number and the Trouble truck never shows up. You have to do something to make this process easier for the customer and the electrical company. Don't forget, we have to have an electrician sitting, usually at the home waiting for your truck to show up. IF they show up at all. Any suggestions you can send me to make this process easier, faster and helpful to the customer I would appreciate. Thank you.

My complaint is that fpl knowingly shut off power to my building around three weeks ago and there were no signs saying the power was going to shut off instead I get a call at three 58 am and they tell me that my building is the only one without power, and they know I live in florida so I don`t usually get a call until it off for an hour, it is a very good thing for you nothing happened, but my lawyer sees it a bit differently my Mom who is going to be 100 in may she needs the security in knowing if ambulance squad needs to get thru the electric doors without power my lawyer I saying this is very reckless on FPL part.

Branches in line reported to FP and L early June. FP and L inspected tree on 06/20 and left a door tag saying nothing needed to be done, FP and L equipment not in danger. Our tree guy could not trim more as it was too close to the line. Our 50+ year-old avocado tree tangled with the line and came down in Irma. FPL turned off power to the house. Had FP and L trimmed the tree away from the lines, our tree guy could've trimmed the tree so it wouldn't go down. We called on the advice of the lineman trimming the tree next door. If FP and L is not going to insure their people trim trees, why bother telling us to call? We have an expensive mess to clean up and I'm holding FP and L responsible. I have kept the door tag and will be sending it to our attorney.

I just got off the phone line with a customer service representative trying to report that my power line is wrapped around over grown pepper tree limbs and I am trying to trim the tree, but am not comfortable getting too close to the power line to do so and was asking that FPL come out and trim the limbs away from the power line to avoid me getting electrocuted and to avoid a problem during hurricane season which starts in a week to where the line will definitely be affected in my opinion and the representative stated that if it is not causing a problem right now FPL won't do anything about it until it is a problem and that is not right.

We recently experience a power outage on July 28, (305 Terracina Dr. Sanford Fl. 32771) at 3:45 am and it tripped the 15 amp breaker for our Master Bedroom only. I currently pay a monthly fee for an FPL "whole house" surge protector which is attached to my meter and it is supposed to protect my home from these occurances. Currently the "red" light is "on" at the meter, but I would like for an FPL tech to please check it to make sure it is doing it's intended job. Thank You

I am a resident of the Ventura Greens community off Vista Parkway. For the last three to six months 18 plus street lights have not worked along Vista Parkway. This is a safety and crime issue that needs immediate attention. I have contacted the Vista Parkway Association to whom we pay fees and they claim it's an FPL problem. Customer 03106-52524 9851 NW 39th Street Hollywood Looking for answers to unique problem. Approximately two and 1/2 months ago, after power surge and partial loss of power in my residence, at 2:30a. M., FPL crew came out and re-wired from pole to Meter Box in my breezeway. The Vendor, VIKING, has been out to dig new trench for cables to bury them. BUT we built the house 50 years ago, meter is in breezeway, slab the box support is on is re-inforced, dyed concrete. ON other side of meter can is my electrical service for home and garage. I DO NOT WANT CONCRETE CUT FOR NEW LINES. My son created a "pipe chase" with approved schedule pipe and clips for outside of garage, up and overhead and then down iNTO meter box. VIKING came out yesterday, said NO DEAL, took pictures, and said FPL would not approve. I would like someone from FPL to eye-ball the situation before this continues into next year. AND, who will pull the PERMITS? please call me at 954 431 6658. Thank you.
