Hiranandani College of Nursing - HiCON Mumbai was established in 2009. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. Hiranandani College of Nursing is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), Government of India and recognized by the Maharashtra Nursing Council (MNC), Mumbai. The College occupies both the sides of the building and has a mix of both the Professional areas and also the administration areas. Hiranandani College of Nursing has state-of-the-art facilities within their sprawling campus. The college provides practical exposure to their students, which helps them in acquiring in depth knowledge in the field of nursing. The college offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing course. It is a four years full time degree programme.

The elevator takes you to the third floor and opens into a smart vestibule. The natural light from the large windows enhance the already remarkable ambience. Hiranandani College of Nursing - HiCON Mumbai library is spread over 1500 sq. ft. All text books as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council will be made available. The library has storage cupboards for books and also adequate seating area for students. The most interesting part of the library is that there is a net access on six computer terminals. This would help the student for seminars and presentation which they would be required to do as part of their curriculum. The library is bathed in natural sunlight and it could be an area where the students may want to read about different aspects of nursing. Nursing journals would be made available and this would widen the horizon of the HiCON student in line with their mission – “To foster health and well being through excellence in nursing education, practice and service”.


Curriculum is the focus of the college. To support that initiative Hiranandani College of Nursing - HiCON Mumbai has very large class rooms. It has the latest teaching aides as projectors, charts, computer terminals to help the teacher to project on screen. The incomparable features here are that the classes are air-conditioned. This is in line with International Nursing Colleges. The design has been intentionally created for our college so that the students can concentrate on the matter at hand and not worry about the climate being oppressive or any other disturbance. The aim being that all our students are given the best and they do well in the curriculum.


Hiranandani College of Nursing - HiCON Mumbai lecture rooms have an elegance

that would support the academic atmosphere. It caters to the comfort of students inside the class. It is brightly lit with large windows to add to the brightness being bathed in natural sunlight. There are four such lecture rooms well insulated from each other. The students will be highly benefited as such an environment enhances the receptiveness, understanding and keeps the level of concentration very high.


Hiranandani College of Nursing - HiCON Mumbai being world class Institute from the infrastructure, curriculum and co-curriculum being world class institute attracts people from all over the country to come and join this college. It is not uncommon therefore for people to ask for dormitory accommodation for students. A dormitory wing has been created with 36 beds. It is not a bunk but a full size bed. Each bed has a study table which is complete with its own private lighting, data point if they have a personal computer and also a wardrobe to match.
