The company purchased the assets of Royce Union Bicycle Company following the sale of Gerry Baby Products Company in 1997. Additionally, it also bought a basketball goods company Sure Shot International. 2004 was the year when the company's sports division (that manufactures sporting goods) was purchased by
Russell Corporation. The company sales reached 100 million bicycles by the end of the year 2006. Huffy Corporation has four subsidiaries, Washington Inventory Service, Huffy Service First, Huffy Sports Company and Huffy Bicycle Company.
