The Institute of Management Education-IME was started in 1995 with a full time PGDM programme duly approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Institute of Management Education-IME has its own campus spread over six acres of land. Located strategically on G.T. Road at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, the campus is about 15 kilometer from Connaught Place, New Delhi; one kilometer from Sahibabad Railway Station. Lecture rooms are equipped with the best furniture & latest audio-visual aids to create a conducive environment of learning. The library has over 27,000 books, large number of periodicals as well as several national and international journals. The library is automated and is using integrated library automation system LibSys, which is capable of working in integrated multi user network environment. The library is subscribing to about 150 emerald online international research journals which contain research articles, reviews, insights, case studies, interviews etc. Institute of Management Education-IME library is a member of DELNET & British library providing access to database of books, current periodicals, articles etc. IME also has the online subscription of “Prowess” CMIE, Capital Line. There are four computer labs, equipped with Pentium IV PC’s along with the state of the art hardware and software. Access to the internet is made available through high speed radio link. IME has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Mess facility is these hostels are provided on co-operative basis. Medica facilities may be availed from clinics & hospitals located nearby campus. In particular Narinder Mohan Hospital, Mohan Nagar and GTB Hospital, Shahdara, Delhi.
Besides academics, students at Institute of Management Education-IME engage themselves in a number of activities. Sports facilities are provided for Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Lawn tennis, Table tennis etc. Students are encouraged to undertake various social projects, organize various events ranging from cultural to personality development. The institute has a busy schedule of organizing different programmes in almost each month e.g. Foundation Day, Manthan (Management Fest), E-Kranti (IT Fest), Sports Meet (Twice a Year), Fresher Party, Convocation Day, RUX (Hostellers Get-together), Farewells, Industrial Tours and Seminars on current topics. The Institute of Management Education-IME offers Three year Full-time MCA, Two year Full-time PGDM, Two year Full-time PGDM (Marketing) and Three year Part-time PGDM.
Placement provides a fitting finale to the two year rigorous PGDM program and three year MCA Programme at Institute. The Institute of Management Education-IME has a consistently good placement record over the years. All the students are placed with good organizations. Industry interaction throughout the year facilitates placements as industry personnel have already interacted with students and seen for themselves the quality of students.
