PGP Polytechnic College – Namakkal is located in NH7, Namakkal – Karur, Tamil Nadu. College in a permanent premise in 200 acres campus on the Namakkal-Karur National High Way NH7 is 15 kms from Namakkal towards Karur. Hostel facility of PGP Polytechnic College – Namakkal separate boys and girls hostels cater to the needs of the students. Based on the dividing system with low charges and all amenities, they provide the students a home away from home. There are single and double rooms with all facilities to accommodate approximately 1300 boys and 500 girls. Mineral water plants for drinking, treated river water for general use, independent dining, common room facilities, computer laboratory, TV and reading room are other features of the hostels. Discipline is the hallmark. Menu with a wide variety of food meeting the needs of the students from all parts of India is provided.

Sports facility of PGP Polytechnic College – Namakkal every year we conduct State level interdivisional volleyball and ball badminton tournament; 9 different divisions from all over Tamilnadu participated this year. This year we have conducted Salem divisional women’s sports tournament in December. Every year our polytechnic students participate in various divisional level and state level games and athletics. Every year we are conducting sports day in February.
Placement Cell of PGP Polytechnic College – Namakkal headed by a Director with industrial experience conducts a regular personality development and soft skill programmes for all students starting from the first year itself. Regular placement programmes by MNC’s and major Indian firms including PGP Group are conducted in the campus. During 2007-2008 about 300 students have been selected and placed. Many of our students were placed in renowned companies like TCS, WIPRO, Sutherland Global Services, Le Royal Meridien, HCL, Infosys, CTS, Sathyam, Patni, US Technologies, Sure Soft, Sakthi Auto components, DMW, Sutherland, Dharani sugars, Sakthi sugars etc.
