Pranveer Singh institute of Technology-PSIT received the first ray of sun in the year 2004 under the leadership of Mr. Pranveer Singh, the Honorable Chairman and Prof S. J Pande, Director of the institute. The opening marked the culmination of an extended effort by Mr. Pranveer Singh, to establish a climate that fosters innovations, assimilation of new ideas, technology, strong mentoring programmes and a constant drive to improve the processes.

That is why, we are proud that PSIT became the first wireless campus of Eastern & Central UP, years before most people had even heard of the technology. As Eastern & Central UP's first hi-tech smart campus, PSIT has 4Mbps wireless broadband internet connectivity with over 25 kms of fibre optic/ LAN cable backbone structure.
Each student is provided with a smart card for access control/e-wallet etc. Also, all Pranveer Singh institute of Technology-PSIT campuses are interconnected through a highly secured PSIT Virtual Private Network, where over 1,000 PCs are connected to the internet through broadband connections whilst 3 hi-end servers power the PSIT network.
