Wings Aviation Private Limited incorporated in 1995 and established its another division as Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy to fulfill his dreams. And also provide every individual with a conductive environment suitable to achieve his / her career goals, with a strong emphasis on personality development without compromising on the quality and code of ethics to each student of the institution". Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy-RGAA is an approved maintenance organization by DGCA, RGAA has own hanger facility in the civil Airport. The Hangar can accommodate 5 Trainer aircraft and also medium size transport aircraft. RGAA has plans to induct few more CESSNA 172 (Glass Cock Pit) and turboprop aircraft. It has qualified engineers and experienced technicians. The Quality Control manager is responsible for quality control cells and looking after safety standards of the aircraft fleet. We are one of the leading institution for pilot training in Indian Aviation.We provide high quality training to all aspirants who wish to take their career to the sky.For aspiring students we provide the necessary ground subjects and flying training to enable them to earn the coveted “WINGS”.
Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy-RGAA has our own Hangar where our Aircraft maintenance activities are carried out. The hanger also accommodates briefing rooms for pilots a library cum reading room and offices for the flying and maintenance staff.The flying is carried out from Nadirgul a satellite airfield of Hyderabad and Begumpet airport. The ground training is carried out at a separate location and precedes the flying training. We have well equipped class rooms with computerized data bank, multimedia audiovisual training and extensive library and modern training aids. We do have single engine and multi-engine simulators. Our students will be equipped to excel in all areas of aerospace technology under the guidance of caring instructors. As the need for enhanced communications and analytical skill development increases, students will acquire these proficiencies from our well-qualified and credentialed faculty.The theory classes are conducted in our lecture halls and laboratories. We have a shop equipped with Lycoming engines. The Students will be equipped with the following facilities: Multimedia Classrooms, Reference Library, Computer room, Briefing Rooms and Flight Planning Room.
Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy-RGAA offers a host of flying courses: Private Pilot Licence Course, Commercial Pilot Licence Course, Instrument Rating Course and Multi Engine Rating Course. Our course is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation. The AME Course is for three years (Six Semesters). First Five Semesters will be classroom study coupled with practical Training in our Workshops and Avionics Laboratories. In 6th Semester the students will be assisted to have, on Job Training (OJT) on our own aircraft or at DGCA approved Maintenance Organization like Air India, Indian Airlines, Go Air, King Fisher Airlines, Air Works India, NAL Etc.
Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy-RGAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineering(AME) College trained nearly 400 students till date and most of these students are successful in examinations conducted by the DGCA and we are proud to mention that our AME College has excelled many of the similar institutes in the country. Our student’s are working as full fledged licence holder on A320,ATR 42/ATR72 aircrafts and drawing around 3-4 million rupees per annum are employed by various Airlines like Jet Air, Alliance Air, Air works India, King Fisher Airlines and GAMCO (Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Corporation). We assist our AME Students in their placements and many of them are in employment with the organizations both in India and abroad.
