St. Margaret Engineering College-SMEC is situated on Delhi-Jaipur National Highway at Neemrana which is an ancient historical town in Alwar District of Rajasthan. It is about 120 Km. from Delhi and 140 Km. from Jaipur. It is the site of 14th century Hill-Fort ruled by Chauhan till 1947. Nowadays, the Neemrana Fort is a leading heritage resort and is an ideal venue for weddings, conferences etc. The fort also has the facility for adventure sports like zipping which is being provided by Flying Fox an adventure travel company. The college is in the midst of the industrial belt spanning through Bawal, Shahjahanpur, Neemrana, and Behror. It is about 4 Km. from Shahjahanpur toll barrier and about 500 meters from Neemrana mor towards right of National Highway when coming from Delhi.
The St. Margaret Engineering College-SMEC is spread over 25 acres of fully developed institutional land of Rajasthan Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) at the foothills of Aravalli. The institute is strategically located in an area where large numbers of national and multinational industries are already in existence. The campus has been planned to provide all the facilities required for the overall development of the student. The campus has been aesthetically divided into academic area, playgrounds and residential area. The neatly laid out roads lawns/ parks and the state of the art well equipped laboratories & library provides a conducive environment for teaching-learning.
