Sant Viragi Baba Mahavidyalaya – Ghatampur has been founded by Pujya Sant Viragi Baba with motto to provide Higher Education to stutents of rural and undeveloped areas of Kanpur Nagar District. This college is managed by a Society named Viragi Baba Shikshan Samiti, Muiya, Ghatampur, Kanpur Nagar registered under Society Act, 1860. College offers different kind of undergraduate course.
Sant Viragi Baba Mahavidyalaya – Ghatampur is situated at Muiya, Po-Sri Nagar, Tehsil- Ghatampur, Kanpur Nagar (UP). The campus of college is pollution free with all infrastructures compatible to any educational institution in the Kanpur District. All the games facilities are available in the institution. College has a huge play ground to cater the needs of sports and college activities. Management of this college is also trying to expand its built-up area.

Library has reading room of 30 seating capacity. There are all equipments are appratus are available in the Science Lab. Science Lab of Sant Viragi Baba Mahavidyalaya – Ghatampur will be upgraded time by time and equipments and appratus will be purchased tme by time. Science lab of B.Ed. is separate and complete in all respects.
Psychology Lab is a integral part of Faculty of Education. Psychology Lab has all equipments and appratus required for B.Ed. Programme. Psychology Lab of Sant Viragi Baba Mahavidyalaya – Ghatampur will be upgraded time by time and equipments and appratus will be purchased when needed. Education Tech. and Media Lab of this college is well maintained and updated. There are computers, printer, camera, Over Head Projector, Educational CD ROMS and all equipments and appratus required for B.Ed. Programme. There are all indoor and outdoor games facilities are available in the Faculty of Education. College has sufficient playground for all games.
