I have full insurance coverage under my AMEX Platinum. I also carry my vehicle insurance policy from my Canadian location. In Edinburgh at the Sixt counter this year I was told that I HAD too take the additional Sixt coverage or they would not give me the pre-booked vehicle. Before I book another vehicle with Sixt (Portugal - September _ one Month) I want assurances that I will not be held to ransom at the airport for your coverages.
I attempted to call Sixt re a question about an existing rental. No location contact numbers. The 888 phone number was useless. I needed to ask someone a simple question. Sixt's customer service sucks. Try to contact a person to ask something yourself. Too many other vehicle rental companies, especially where we live near a major airport, to deal with this nonsense. Who is the corporate idiot who set this up?.

I lost a Laptop in the car I returned to your rental location at LAX airport on 11 December 2017. The item has been lodged on the Lost and Found website under no 4100541. I have been trying to contact your Lost and found department as I believe my Laptop may be the same as the item listed on your Found site under item number 004067811. However your Lost and found office is always busy and despite leaving a return tel number, the office never calls back. I am very disappointed by the service of your company.
