In 1957, it introduced TB 3 Stereo that was the Tandberg first stereo system and cross-field recording technique used which was used in Tb 6X in 1960. The First branch in the United States was opened in 1995 in Connecticut. In the year of 1997 the television manufacturing portions became the Tandberg Television. The company had more than 1,450 employees. It was headquartered in Lysaker, Norway, in the United States. The company was closed on April 19, 2010.
