Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Pharmacy – Moradabad was established in 2008. The pharmacists of 21st Century are responsible for managing drug therapy, counseling patients on proper use of medications and monitoring drug therapy outcomes. Keeping these factors in mind, the University has established two premier institutions of Dental and Medical Colleges in the year 2005 and 2008, respectively. Further, to complement medical teaching and research, the University established the College of Pharmacy in the campus to promote teaching and research in the field of Pharmaceutical Science. The focus areas of the College include: providing excellent professional education to students, continuing medical education for practicing pharmacist and promoting innovative research. It offers D. Pharm, B. Pharm, M. Pharm.
Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Pharmacy – Moradabad maintains separate library for each of its constituent college to provide access to excellent information services, resources and facilities to students, faculty, researchers and the diverse community to facilitate them to be active and lifelong learners. The library adequately equipped with 4721books covering wide range of disciplines of academic and non-academic interest. The college also subscribes for 7 international and 15 national journals, periodicals and newspapers for the students and faculty members at the college library. To help faculty to provide research based input to the students and encourage R&D in its colleges, the University has subscribed the EBSCO data base providing access to full text research articles and sector specific reports in different disciplines.
Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Pharmacy – Moradabad is equipped with 140 computers and peripherals with color monitor, multimedia facilities, scanner, and printers of all types. Computer Lab of college is designed to offer students access and exposure to the latest equipment in the field.
Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Pharmacy – Moradabad Cell organizes personality development, career guidance and counseling programs for the students so as to gear them up to take on the stiff competition in the corporate world. The Cell also organizes group discussions, mock interviews and aptitude tests from time to time to prepare the students for campus placement. The Cell regularly interacts with the industry to get inputs for review and up gradation of its Curriculum. The cell also organizes Corporate Meets from time to time to assess the requirement of the industry and gives the students an insight into the workings of the corporate world.
