I want to cancel my contract with VM, number 0741867729. There is never anyone to talk to and when I posted a complaint with technicians, no reply. There is no outlet close so I can not get to talk to anyone at all. It was fine for the first couple of years, I had no problems and happily paid Monthly for a very useful service,, but that was trouble free. Since I was phoned and convinced to upgrade, I have had no service whatsoever and am fed up with trying to get a response. Because the "new" phone didn't work and Months passed with no response, we put SIM in the old phone, only to be cut off without warning. So, stuff it. I've had enough of useless phones and poor service.

VM have no service at all. I was contacted for an upgrade and it took them three weeks to get it delivered to me. Then the phone did not work to not registered on network. one month later still no response to various emails and promises from them. "We are up grading and it will take only a day then we will have your problem sorted". three weeks and still no response from VM. Took phone to store and waited more than an hour to try and sort out problem no luck. Left phone at store and cancelled contract. E-mail to customer care about problems. no response. Unbelievable company, so bad its laughable.
They did a network upgrade and cut off my roaming. When I said switch it back on they asked for a 10,000 rand deposit for their own mistake!
I am out of SA and yet you can only pay deposit in SA!
5 times I am put on hold and each time call dropped.

As an ex Executive at Wooloworths, I know the meaning of quality service and the meaning of poor service - VM fits the latter.
