Armement Air-Sol Modulaire (Air-to-Ground Modular Weapon) (AASM) is a French Precision-Guided Munition. It is intended to precisely hit a specific target, and to minimize collateral damage. AASM has been in service since 2007 and has been used by the French Air Force and French Naval Aviation. It has served its purpose in War in Afghanistan and 2011 Libyan civil war. Armement Air-Sol Modulaire is developed by Sagem Défense Sécurité and has an operational range of 15 km at very low altitude and 55 km at high altitude.
