Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi is a Pakistani professional tennis player, born on 17 March 1980 in Lahore. At the age of 14 he started playing tennis under the coaching of Adil Mansoor Tipu. He is one of Pakistan's top tennis players and also among top doubles players in the world. He has won many singles and doubles championship in his carrier. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi has achieved many awards and recognitions like the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Of The Year Award for 2002 and 2010, President’s Award for Performance by the Government of Pakistan on 14 August 2004, Salam Pakistan Youth Award by President of Pakistan on 14 August 2007, Selected as a "Champion of Peace" by Peace and Sport World Forum, Monaco, in 2010, Triple gold medalist at first Islamic Solidarity Games in Saudi Arabia in 2005 etc. In 2010 Aisam-ul-Haq was appointed The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) goodwill ambassador
