Alan Bond is the founder of the Reaction Engines Ltd and is known for his work A Sumerian Observation of the Köfels' Impact Event. He worked at the Culham Laboratory for about 20 years on nuclear fusion. Alan Bond has authored many books such as Project Daedalus - The Final Report on the BIS Starship Study (1978), A Realistic Single Stage Spaceplane (2003), The SKYLON Spaceplane (2004) and Heat Exchanger Design in Combined Cycle Engines (2009).
