Alan Scott Pardew is a former professional footballer. He was born on 18 July 1961 in Wimbledon, England. Alan Pardew began his career in 1980 with football club Whyteleafe. He has played for many notable football clubs such as Reading, Charlton Athletic, Crystal Palace and Barnet. Alan Pardew has also served as the manager of many football clubs which include Reading (1999-2003), West Ham United (2003-2006), Charlton Athletic (2006–2008) and Southampton (2009–2010).
