Alistair Ian Campbell is a British singer and songwriter. He is also know as Ali Campbell and was born on 15 February 1959 in Birmingham. He was one of the founders of UB40 Band and was its leading singer. He later founded his own band, the Dep band. Ali Campbell started his career in 1977. His various famous solo albums are Big Love and Running Free. Ali Campbell has been honored with many awards such as Ivor Novello Award, Grammy Awards and Mauritius Government award.
