AMCAT (Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test) is an employability assessment test. It was launched in 2008 and acts as a statistical assessment platform to assess the aptitude, reasoning and technical skills of students and new graduates. AMCAT also claims to perform advanced skill assessment for specific roles in industries viz. IT, Mechanical, Finance etc. AMCAT is organized by Aspiring Minds, an Indian employ-ability evaluation and certification company. AMCAT is recognized by many companies viz. Sonata Software, HCL Technologies, Genpact and InoxApp. AMCAT test is conducted in two modules - a compulsory module and an optional module. Based on the AMCAT score, the companies which are in collaboration with AMCAT may hire employees. Delhi University tied up with Aspiring Minds in 2011 and launched the AMCAT test to assess the employability of the students on their campus. Mohan Lal Sukhadia University and IEC University are among the other universities that have partnered with AMCAT.
