George Anthony Walkem was elected as the 3rd Premier of British Columbia and served from February 11, 1874 to January 27, 1876. He also served as the 5th Premier of British Columbia from June 25, 1878 – June 6, 1882. George Anthony Walkem died at the age of 73 on January 13, 1908 in Victoria, British Columbia.
