Jihad Azour is an experienced economist and politician from Lebanon. He was born on 4 May 1966. Jihad Azour has served as the minister of finance of the country under Fouad Saniora's government from 2005 to 2008. He has done a Ph.D in International Finance from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (IEP) in France in 1996. Jihad Azour has also served as post doctoral fellow Department of Economics at Harvard University. He began hs professional career with consulting firm McKinsey & Company in Paris.
