Shaukat Aziz is an economist and financier of Pakistani nationality. He was born on 6 March 1949 in Karachi, West-Pakistan. Shaukat Aziz has also served as the 15th prime minister of Pakistan holding office from 20 August 2004 to 15 November 2007. Shaukat Aziz has also served as the Minister of Finance of Pakistan from 12 October 1999 to 15 November 2007. Shaukat Aziz has spent most of his career with citibank, serving at various positions such as head of Corporate and Investment Banking for different regions, Corporate Planning Officer as well as Country Manager in Malaysia and Jordan. Shaukat Aziz holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi. He resides in London.
