Thad Altman is an American Republican party politician. He was born on September 8, 1955 in Macon, Georgia. Thad Altman has served as the Member of the Florida House of Representatives from the 30th district (2003–2008), and Member of the Florida Senate from the 24th district (2008–2012). Thad Altman was elected Member of the Florida Senate from the 16th district in 2012.
