Bhajarang Engineering College – BEC Thiruvallur is established under the auspicious of Bhajarang Educational & Social Trust, founded by Mr.M.G.Baskaran, as its Chairman and Managing Trustee, who took inspiring efforts to the service of student community. Bhajarang Engineering College – BEC Thiruvallur established during 2001 – 2002 has been approved by the All India council for Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Bhajarang Educational & Social Trust, a Telugu Linguistic Minority Trust having its registered office at No. 14,3 rd Main Road, Krishnapuram, Thiruninravur, Thiruvallur District – 602 024, was started to establish Engineering Colleges, Arts Colleges, Medical Colleges and other institutions for the sole benefit of the Telugu Linguistic Minority people. Meritorious students of other communities and religions are also admitted subject to the rules of the Government of Tamilnadu.

The Bhajarang Engineering College – BEC Thiruvallur campus is spread over a vast area of about 31 acres and has 1,00,000 sq.ft of constructed area which includes Lecture halls, Drawing halls, Computer lab, Information Technology lab, Electronics lab, Electrical lab, Communications lab, Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Workshop and other associated facilities.

More than 150 students have already undergone training in about 50 industries in Tamilnadu in the academic year 2002-2003. The Bhajarang Engineering College – BEC Thiruvallur Campus interviews are planned and when the students reach the final year college will make every effort to get majority of the students absorbed into industries. The cell is headed by a placement and training officer in the cadre of professor who acts as a liason officer between the college and industries and engineering establishments.
