Hostel of Manipal University has a separate hostel section under the management of Hostel Management Committee. This committee is headed by its Chairperson. The Chief Warden, MU, Manipal Campus who is the secretary of the Committee administers the day to day aspects of the hostel management at Manipal. All the hostels of the University are divided into three campuses. The hostels of medical, dental and para medical colleges at Manipal are grouped under Chief Warden, MU, Manipal Campus; the hostels of engineering, management and other colleges located at Manipal Institute of Technology complex are grouped under Chief Warden, MIT Campus; and the hostels at Mangalore Campus are grouped under Chief Warden, Mangalore Campus. Each hostel has a Warden from the teaching faculty of the colleges who is responsible for the discipline, maintenance of building, allotment of rooms etc.

Library of Manipal University has some of the best libraries in Asia. There are six major central library’s as under:- Health sciences Library Manipal, Health sciences Library Mangalore, MIT Library, MIC Library, WGHSA Library, MIM Library. Each of these libraries can be accessed by any MU student. Besides these central libraries, each constituent institute has its own library besides these central libraries. There are also small department level libraries in all of the institutes. The University always strives to provide the latest and best collection of books, journals, online sources, dissertations etc to the students for course work and research.
Class Rooms of Manipal University walk into one of the classrooms of the Interact building or one in the Lecture Hall Complex of MIT and the spontaneous reaction is, great! Yes, it is. Manipal University has brought technology into classrooms for effective pedagogy. Technology needs to be integrated into teaching and learning process and the University has done the best to ensure it in these centrally air-conditioned classrooms. Technological has been leveraged for better student-teacher interaction, productivity and communication. It makes teaching and learning simpler and enjoyable.
Data centre of Manipal University has setup a state of the art physical infrastructure for the data centre that meets the requirements of industry standard. This Tier II (N+1) DC, spread over 3000 sq.ft, will house the server park and also the Network Operation Center ( NOC ), hosting enterprise applications, e-Learning portal, websites and host of other services.
Conference halls of Manipal University well-furnished three separate conference halls on the ground floor of shell no. 2 are suitable for conferences, seminars and conventions etc. No.1 and no.3 halls can accommodate up to 250 persons each and no. 2 conference hall can accommodate 350. The three halls can be used concurrently.
Sports facility of Manipal University all the sports activities at Manipal University are conducted under the supervision of the University Sports Council headed by the Pro Chancellor as the Chairperson and Vice Chancellor as the Vice Chairperson of the council. The Deputy Registrar is the Secretary and the Registrar, Director, Student Affairs, Director, General Services, Director Finance, Director, Projects and all the Heads of constituent institutes and Directors of Physical Education are the members of this council. In addition to this, there are staff sports advisors in each college, who are also part of this council. Every year, one of the Directors of Physical Education will be elected as Chief Sports Coordinator who will oversee the Manipal University sports activities under the guidance of the Secretary, Sports Council. The main function of the University Sports Council is to organize the inter-college sports events among the students of constituent colleges and select the best among them for the University team to represent the university at inter-university tournaments. It also organizes staff sports events annually.
